Root Canal Treatment In Handforth

Safe & Painless Treatment

Root Canal

When an infection has caused harm to the nerve or blood supply of one of your teeth, root canal treatment is the optimal way to protect it. Our dentists will go beyond any and all expectations in guaranteeing that your procedure reaches a successful conclusion. Rest assured they are highly committed to giving you the highest quality of dental care possible.

Your teeth contain a soft tissue known as the dental pulp, which is full of the essential blood vessels and nerve fibres for your oral health. When bacteria invade this area, it can lead to an infection that must be addressed with root canal treatment as soon as possible.

Treatment Process

To ensure a successful root canal, two visits to the dentist are needed. During your initial appointment, the infected tissue will be eliminated from your tooth and sealed with a temporary filling. Then on your second visit, we’ll swap out that provisional filler for something more secure and lasting. If necessary for further protection of the vulnerable area, crowning may also be required.

The goal of treatment is to completely eradicate the infection from your tooth. This can be a complicated process, and thus may require two or more visits with a dentist for effective completion.

After Care

Prioritising the health of your teeth is an imperative step in avoiding future dental issues. To ensure that your smile remains strong and healthy, follow a few simple steps: brush daily, floss regularly, eat nutritious foods, and make regular visits to the dentist. Taking these precautions now will help reduce the likelihood of needing another root canal later down the line!
